Overwatch Coins are the premium virtual currency in Overwatch 2. They can be purchased directly in the Shop or earned by completing in-game weekly challenges.
Overwatch Credits are the play-to-earn currency players earn for free by unlocking tiers throughout their Battle Pass. You can earn up to 1,500 Credits on the Free Battle Pass, and additional 500 Credits when you unlock the Premium Battle Pass. Overwatch Credits unlocks legacy items from Overwatch including seasonal themed skins!
You can progress through the Battle Pass simply by playing the game, with experience points awarded at the end of each game. Battle Passes can be progressed more rapidly by completing in-game challenges which are offered on a daily and weekly refresh schedule. Grouping up with friends also applies an extra 20% Battle Pass experience per match!
Prestige tiers only become available after completing the 80 rewards tiers of the Battle Pass, and they reward unique, hero titles that players can equip on their name cards. These rewards take longer to unlock because they’re not offered at every Prestige tier. You will only be able to earn specific Prestige tier titles during the season they are available. You cannot earn previous season titles in any current or upcoming season.
Once you’ve completed the new player experience, all Overwatch heroes will be available to play. So get playing and master your favorite heroes to dominate the battlefield!
Mythic Prisms are your gateway to Mythic content in Overwatch 2. Easily earned through the Premium Battle Pass or purchased separately, Mythic Prisms unlock many Mythic options to enhance your experience. You can choose from the newest Mythic hero skin or Mythic weapon skin each season or select previous Mythic skins as they’re made available, and various Mythic levels with customizations to suit your style!
