Overwatch 2 Wuyang Hero Trial – August 14, 2025
Introducing Wuyang
Support Hero Wuyang bends the rules of healing and now you can bend them too, before his official debut in Season 18. This prodigy from Wuxing University’s Water College is all about rhythm, disruption, and flow-based control. In this limited-time Hero trial, get hands on with Wuyang's hybrid Xuanwu staff, mobility-driven abilities, and gameplay-shifting perks to unlock the rhythm of Support done differently. Smart positioning and sharp aim pay off big here, so dive in and make an early splash with Wuyang from Aug 14–18

Sigma
Developer Comment: Sigma’s barrier wasn’t scaling well into the late game, often feeling too fragile compared to the pressure he’s expected to absorb. We’ve increased its health to give it more staying power as fights become more intense. Additionally, Accretion focused builds have been underperforming, largely due to the ability’s slower cadence in fast paced brawls. With a cooldown buff, Accretion should now be more responsive and impactful! Especially in late game teamfights where frequent crowd control can shift momentum.
- Increased Barrier Health Scalar to 150% (Up from 100%). Barriers now get a bigger health boost from the money you earn.
Hyperloop - Power
- Increased Cooldown Reduction to 0.8s (Up from 0.5s).
Singularity - Power
- Increased Splash Damage to 75% (Up from 25%).
